If you want to keep up with the current issues surrounding Inspection Testing and Maintenance this series of interactive webinars is the source for you.  ITM Pulse is an interactive talk-show format with a hosted by Jim Lake, NFSA Vice President of Training and Communications with special guests and presentations. It will also feature a new call-in function where participants can call in and speak to the presenters for full interaction.

Schedule: 6 weeks (once per month) starting on July 29, 2014


Session 1 (July 29, 2014): Laws, Legislation and Certification (Guest: Jason Webb)

This module will focus the various local and state laws that govern ITM in different states including interpretations of the standard and ITM Technician certification and the issues that arise that NFSA is addressing.


Session 2 (August 26, 2014): Enforcement and 3rd Party Administration (Guest: Jason Webb)

This module will focus the various ways states and local municipalities address administrative requirements such as licensure, record keeping, tagging and compliance.


Session 3 (September 22, 2014): Coordination with Alarm Systems (Guest: Art Black)

This module will provide information on the requirements for coordination between the requirements of NFPA 72 and NFPA 25. 


Session 4 (October 14, 2014): Contracts and Work Documents (Guest: Top Myers)

This module will discuss the language of contracts and work related documents and how they provide protection or exposure should something go wrong with the system after an inspection or test has been performed.


Session 5 (November 11, 2014): Working with the Owners (Guest: Terry Victor)

This module will focus on the importance of the owner in the whole process and identify ways that a contractor can establish a good working relationship with the owner gain their trust through clear communication and documentation of work.


Session 6 (December 11, 2014): NFPA 25 – 2014 and 2017 Editions (Guest: Bill Koffel)

Various editions of NFPA 25 are enforced all over the country.  This module will focus on the requirements of the current edition (2014) and provide information on the revisions from the previous edition (2011) as well as insights into what could be coming in the next edition (2017).
