Instructor Brian Sauer, with Grunau Company, will be providing an overview of the building & fire code advantages of sprinkler trade-offs available to building owners who properly install fire sprinkler systems.  The focus of this overview is to assist fire inspectors with understanding these allowable trade-offs as reinforcement for the need of proper inspection, testing, and maintenance.  He will discuss both “active” and “passive” fire protection design approaches. He will discuss the different types of trade-offs for both NFPA 13 & NFPA 13R sprinkler systems.

Lunch will be provided to all who pre-register for the seminar courtesy of the Indiana Chapter of NFSA.

Please bring a copy of the 2014 Indiana Building Code to class.
